Mirrors

Many users complain that fetching from OpenZaurus.org is slow. When writing about 3.5.3 release we forgot to mention mirrors.

    The pdai.org mirror is not working. Each link returns “permission denied”

    I just set up my site and would like to set up a mirror for OZ. Is there a mirroring-howto anywhere or do I simply copy the whole tree to my webserver? I have the space and bandwidth to spare and would like to help out.

    pcghost: add info in comment or post it to me so I will add it into list of mirrors.
    Accordint to howto.. there is no such thing - grab all and then setup a cron job which will fetch upgrades from time to time as this is the only one dir where we add more stuff.

    Is it possible to provide a ftp mirror? (mirroring into our organisation is much easier with ftp :-)

    The mirrors are not uptodate. The 3.5.4-RC directory is missing if not even more.
